The Universal City Citizens Police Academy Alumni
Association held
their second annual Police Family Appreciation Picnic on August 21nd.
We
provided a free BBQ and swimming pool party for all members of the
Police Department, including officers, dispatchers and administators,
and their families. It was our way of saying Thank You for
all
their service to our city. Several area business and
organization helped provide funds and food for the
event.
Over 60 members of the Police family and
Association members enjoyed an afternoon of conversation and
relaxation. It was a great opportunity to meet with members
of
the Police Department in an up close and personal manner. As indicated by the pictures below, everyone had a great time and are ready for next year.
