Neighborhood
Watch Workshop
Neighborhood
Watch (NW)
Workshops are conducted each Spring and Fall, at the Universal City
Police
Department (UCPD). The primary purpose of these
workshops is to introduce new volunteer Block Captains to the NW
program in our city. However, any UC resident wanting to
learn
more about NW is welcome to attend. At the end of each
workshop
there is a roundtable discussion among block captains concerning
lessons learned from their individual programs.
Representatives
from the UCPD
and the UC Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association will be present.
The date and time of the next workshop will appear on our
calendar and there will be a notice posted to our News menu tab.
Special
meetings can also be scheduled for individual neighborhoods if they
wish to establish a Neighborhood Watch program or they have questions
concerning police department issues.
If you
have any questions, please contact the NW Coordinator at NW Coordinator.
